We would like to send our sincere gratitude and thanks for allowing us to do a collection on Saturday 21st February which raised a total of £1,616.34 towards our East Herts & West Essex MS Society group. The generosity of everyone was very much appreciated.

There are now 100,000 people in Britain with MS of which over 250 are in our branch area and are supported by us. The donation will go towards providing a number of services for people affected by this condition e.g.

  • We can provide transport, enabling sufferers to get to essential medical appointments and social events.
  • We provide welfare support, such as funding MS dedicated exercise sessions not available under the NHS.
  • We provide grants to enable affected people to access essential equipment and home adaptations.
  • We run a variety of subsided social events through the year.
  • We also provide funding towards research.
