FIREWORKS AT FULLERIANS!

The scoreline might suggest otherwise, but this was not an easy match, Fullerians were competitive across the park but came up against a group of individuals playing their best rugby to produce a team performance they should all be very proud of.

Thomas F. opened the scoring, converting his own try, followed by two tries from Odin in quick succession, Thomas successfully converting one. A try right by the posts by Dylan S made a third conversion for Thomas a formality giving Stortford a hard earned 26-0 lead at the break.
Wholesale changes made at half time - Murray, Luca, Sonny, Monty, Jack and Paidi replacing Ed, Freddie O, Odin, Alec and Sam W - did nothing to break the strong team dynamic and soon Nathan and Paidi added a try each to the tally. A second try from Thomas F, converted by Paidi took us over the 40 point mark before the moment of the match left spectators, coaches and players from both teams applauding. Characteristic strong rucking from our forwards lead to the ball being fed to Jasper in his own half, seeing a gap he set off at pace, his eyes fixed on the try line beneath the posts half the pitch away, with a burst of acceleration he left his team-mates behind and skipped three or four tackles to place the ball down beneath the posts.

Definitely a fifth of November to remember...well played boys!
