Fantastic Honour for Club Member in
The Queens Honour List  Peter Scarlett is awarded an MBE Most of the club know Peter and how much work he has put into the club but if you don't you will surely recognise him as he is regularly supporting all sections of the club. He is one of the club's four trustees, was President in 2003-05 and was first XV captain in the 1960s. Not only has he fronted the club developments over the last decade in attaining all aspects of funding for the club but also has helped a number of other clubs in achieving funding. He is also a leading light in the Stortford branch of Rotary and a driving force behind Kickstart, the organisation based at the Methodist Church in South Street which helps the unemployed to get back into work. Hearty Congratulations Peter from all sections of our Club it is richly deserved.
Parking at Silver Leys
Regrettably we must once again remind all members, supporters and visitors to the club to ensure they park in a manner which demonstrates consideration for our many neighbours. It is particularly important that you do not park in Patmore Close or its immediate vicinity as poor parking is causing significant difficulty to the Emergency Services.
