Friendly Baa Baa's Game

Some fun in the sun.

We sent a mixed squad of 32, to Saracens today, (who are in Div's 2 and 3 in the HML's), to play a 4 quartered training session / friendly including 10 or so BSRFC A's and the balance from our B's squad players, to get some valuable match practice in before we HOST Haverhill next week and then the local Hertford B's HML derby game, on the 5th November.

With x15 players either at the HERTS DPP day, resting or injured it was always going to be a tough ask of our boys vs a strong Saracens squad but fun was had by all and our hosts ensured that played in right spirit, reffed well and on the 1st XV pitch, (in front of the grandstand), which was a first for many of our players.

Some good work from our backs and forwards at the breakdown, set piece improved from recent run-outs, with only a couple of late tries in each of the last 2 quarters, separating the teams on the day.

Thanks to Saracens for hosting us, as our BSRFC Mini's Festival took over much of the club back at Silver Leys.
