Tough Preparation

A mid-week U16's Baa Baa squad hosted a strong Aranmore CC U16/17's squad, for the 2nd time in 2-years at Silver Leys.

With GCSE's and County Cup Finals for both our A's and B's we fielded a mixed squad, partly to help give game-time to a couple of injury returning players and a last chance for coaches to look at lads for the Cup and Shield games vs Old Albanians on Sunday 29th April.

A great game to watch from the touchline, with plenty of running rugby, (played in good spirit), when the forwards had done the hard graft. A chance to make new friends across the table at dinner, where the Sausage-n-mash went down a treat.

Safe travels back to our guests this weekend, congratulations on you "clean-sheet" of WINS in Italy, Ireland, Scotland and Bishops Stortford this week. Maybe we'll get across for a "re-match" in a couple of years after many of our players experience South African rugby after exams.
