U15A 10 Saracens Amateurs 32

A battling performance ended in defeat to our visitors from North London. An opening try from the impressive Saracens number 8 was consolidated with a second score before Matt F got Stortford onto the scoreboard. Our boys were under consistent pressure to defend and a tight clearance kick could only find the rapid visiting fullback, who darted back and finished in the corner. It was then Stortford's turn to apply the pressure, camping out on the Saracen's line for a dozen phases before Freddie S managed to cross the line and ground the ball out wide - after discussion between the experienced referee and touch judge the try was awarded and we went to the break 10-15 down.

Saracen's came out very strongly in the second half and despite several opportunities, we began to tire and were unable to answer their 3 tries. It was a robust 45 mins from the boys, but we faded late on. MoM went to Samuel, with much improved performances from across the pitch.
