Herfordshire Festival

Last Sunday 27th March, we entered the Hertfordshire Festival at OA’s.
I am very pleased to say both our teams came second in there groups of 4 and went through to the semi finals of the competition.
The B’s lost in the dying moments of their semi final by one try to nil. All the players were desperately upset after a long day and a great effort to have narrowly missed out.
The A’s let their concentration laps and let in 4 try’s in the first half against Welwyn (4 times title holders). We had only let in one try the whole tournament up until that game. After a half time talk, pride kicked in and in the second half the score was nil to nil.
Well done to all the players and to injured Will Price who made the journey to support his team with his arm in a sling.
