After the disappointment of the cancellation of a friendly vs SWRFC this month, our x3 converts from there this season, contributed very well, amongst a strong BSRFC squad of x20 who tasted victory over Letchworth on a warm but muddy Sunday morning.
A well reffed, if slightly elongated half's, saw a hard fought contest, (two yellow cards included), although an 11 try thriller for the touchline coaches / first aiders / parents made it a fun morning with our hosts over at Letchworth Garden City.
In the end x2 opportunistic interception tries, (both converted), in the second half for our U14's, made the final scoreline look a little more emphatic than it actually was with both sides playing some excellent rugby, in the forwards and indeed the attacking nature of both backlines evident throughout.
A particularly good, all round BSRFC U14's squad performance this weekend with points accrued by Albert, Barnett, Mitchell, Oakey, Parry and Stevenson setting us up for a table topping meeting with Old Albanians A's, in a couple of weeks.
