Wow what a night.
Great start to the night with a warm-up/shuffle defence drill.
Great touch played with more intelligence used in the game to limit the amount of tries. We all got a little 'fling the ball about' happy in the middle conceding multiple turnovers where none were necessary. And we all respected and played to the Ref, something we have to get much better at.
Honourable mention goes to Adam who managed to trip over the ball while it was on the ground, under no pressure what so ever, and he followed that up by spilling his pint in the bar - sort of sums up his night.
The stand out move though was brought by our new young talent in the form of Geoff 'The Rock' Pederson who didn't quite understand that touch means minimal contact and managed to flatten Paul Dommett in the very first play of the first game. When I say flatten I mean flatten, he knocked Paul over, ran on top of him, then bending the laws of physics also managed to fall on top of him, the final part of the move was genius, Geoff cleverly used his own face to arrest his fall. I'm not actually sure if Paul even had the ball at the time.
