MEET OUR PROSPECTIVE NEW TRUSTEES

MEET OUR PROSPECTIVE NEW TRUSTEES

Dee Compton29 Jun - 22:33

Florence Fudge

We are delighted that we have had a great response to our request for volunteers to come forward as Trustees. They will be formally voted in at the AGM on 16 July (hopefully). To enable those attending to know more about those standing we are publishing in advance their profiles.

"Hi, I’m Flo and I'm incredibly proud to be joining the board of trustees at the club, a place that has given me so much over the years: courage, confidence, and a true sense of community. Being part of the women’s team for the past two seasons, and heading into my third, has been a transformative experience and it’s taught me the value of teamwork, resilience, and belonging. I’m passionate about making sure more girls and women in our community can access the same opportunities, support, and inspiration that I’ve found here.
As a trustee, I will be especially focused on ensuring the club continues to grow in a sustainable, inclusive way - one that strengthens its foundations while opening doors for new generations of players. It’s vital to me that the club continues to offer a welcoming and empowering environment for everyone who walks through its gates.
Professionally, I hold a Master’s degree in Project Management and work in building consultancy, where I lead the delivery of construction projects across a range of sectors. This background has equipped me with strong skills in strategic planning, budgeting, procurement, and stakeholder coordination, all of which I’m excited to bring to the club, particularly in support of our facilities and procurement efforts.
As a younger and female voice on the board, I’m keen to contribute a fresh perspective and help ensure the club represents and meets the needs of all its members. Giving back to a club that has already given me so much is a huge honour, and I look forward to playing my part in its future."
