It’s obligatory for at least one parent of each player in the festival to volunteer, with the exception of coaches who are already volunteering (we do however, fully understand that there may be the odd parent that cannot volunteer due to childcare).

Once everyone has updated their availability on Pitchero the team will be selected, but we need to ensure we have enough help for the day.
Even if your child is not playing, we would hope to see other parents stepping forward to help with this event.

The festival is a great day for all the kids to enjoy. Any volunteers whose child is not playing will be given a free and convenient parking place in the club car park at the front of the clubhouse.
An event like this gives children playing Rugby an ideal opportunity to integrate and is a great fundraiser for the Minis Section. Without volunteers we simply could not host these events and ultimately provide some fantastic experiences for our children, which will be remembered for years to come.
This is what we would like volunteers to do:
Car Parking: We need volunteers to direct cars and take payment for parking between 7.00am and kick-off (briefing and a refreshment included).

Pitch Marshalls: One pitch marshal is required for each pitch. It’s their job to get teams and refs on/off pitches on time.

Refreshment Tent: We need volunteers to take payment for/serve food and drinks at the refreshment tent/hatch.

We also need help to set up on the Saturday afternoon from 13:00pm and to take down on Sunday from 2.30pm. Please update the spreadsheet, which has been distributed, by Sunday 13th October to show where you can help!
